That's an amazing achievement. I studied kenpo from 6 years old until I was 14. The man who taught me passed away, and he taught me for free, I had no money to continue. I made it pretty far for being so young, but it taught me to controll myself, which is what j really needed, i was emotional and angry when small, bullied and beat up, then j had a massive growth spirt and became huge and became a but kf a bully myself put of anger for how I was treated, but I was taught more as an agreement I wouldn't get in anymore trouble , and I was the only student taught for free, taught for four classes a week. Not u til I was older did I understand what he was truly doing, he was giving me something to do wuth my body I stead of think , reaching me to 'fight' so I wouldn't fight anymore. I continued to train throughout life, boxing, wrestling, jujitsu, all great combat sports, but even now when I angry I will go away somewhere and return to my forms , which I have NEVER stopped practicing in private, and I'd probably be up there with black belts now in form lol. Kenpo is NOT a fighting art, it is an art of self defense against the self. We are never truly beaten by an opponent, only ourselves, quiting, self destruction, self pity, and loss of honor for the self. As good as I an in combat sports , and I have students of my own now in a few arts and mma, those are for combat , kenpo, which I haven't had a teacher in decades , is still my root and I may not have advanced in the style past his passing, but I have mastered the lessons he did give me, and that is the greatest gift I had ever received. I was never beaten in sparring in those days, but I alwats lost, I didn't spar kenpo , I fought with anger and fight iq , rather then what I was taught, then i was just a fighter. It took losing him to actually spend time with what he taught, playing our talks over and over , practicing day and night , I wanted to keep him alive and that all I knew to do, I was young. Make sure to share what you knkw friend. Give it to as many as you can, the art is more then people think it is, and far more important then fighting. Mma teaches combat, boxing teaches fighting, kenpo teaches life , ots a father to those without one.

i just rewatched cobra kai twice and realized two major things- 1. Tory was right for starting the school fight and Robby was right for finishing it 2. in the later seasons, they do hawk dirty. for example, in 5x8, hawk fights kenny. i understand that the silver bullet is powerful but they make it seem like Hawk is weak for getting easily scored on by this kid. on top of that, they made it so silver paid the ref again🤦🏿
