I’m loving the Miyoo Flip that I received the other day. Loaded it up with my favorite games and TV shows. The Stock OS firmware update today helped - Bluetooth enabled now! Looking forward to other CFW options but quite content in the meantime. Thanks for sharing, please keep the Miyoo Flip content coming!

I heard from Retro Game Corps that the white and black models actually have a worse off kind of glossy/smooth plastic that marks up easier than the grey and yellow so maybe be happy you got the grey? That def made the choice much easier for me, even tho I always tend to prefer skittles buttons (despite growing up with the purple button snes). But I think kind of like the grey color better with the black shoulder buttons and d pad than the white/grey. So not too disappointed about it. And those pastel like Easter looking skittles buttons were a little off anyway. Idk tho maybe I’ll do a button swap at some point like I just did with my brick.

Yeah a button swap is definitely an option, The Grey is not bad for sure. My main issues is the build quality.

@ yea I’ve been hearing similar from a lot of people online. Just the overall cheapish-feeling build quality that doesn’t seem to compare to something like the rg35xxsp.. and that’s a shame bc that def does scare me esp with the hinge bc I had the hinge break on my first retro handheld (a GPD XD+) back in the day after very little, maybe like 5hrs combined use so I’ve always been weary of those ever since. But hopefully we’ll both be proven wrong about that and there’s rly nothing to worry about lol. And yea a button swap is def the way to go n I think that’d look amazing on that (once ppl start selling replacements that is lol which should be long). As I kind of eluded to in my first comment, I just got my second brick (a white one bc I didn’t like how smudged the black was getting) and first thing I did was swap the buttons between them and man that thing looks so clean and just generally MUCH better with the black buttons! So much so I almost just wanna leave em like that but I just did it temporarily until I got my set of SFC skittles buttons that I ordered from MechDIY. And I’m a sucker for skittles buttons so I kno I won’t be able to resist them lol. Anyway great video man. I had never come across ur channel before this but I made sure to sub. i bought the ambernic sp instead , i have the rg35xx h and its a solid device , i wanted a flip device and i was waiting for the miyoo flip , but when it finally arrived and the reviews were in , im glad i didnt get one, my ambernic sp arrives this week

great take. I have reservations too but I believe by Summer 2025 this will be the handheld that everyone sees as valuable, fun and well made. I believe they will launch a revision 2 that is solid but for now I am having fun!

Such a letdown, I was even ok with an outdated chip. i just wanted the SP design w/ sticks (& not even for main movement use) in quality that Anbernic proved doable. Unless Miyoo or Anbernic comes out with a update, I'm sticking to the MiniPlus. D@mn, I really wanted those big portmaster titles (GTA, Turtles, SKnight, SteelAssault) on such a handheld. Good video

Yeah, the display and power are right where it needs to be,but the quality of the hardware,I was expecting at least Anbernic level quality considering the the price and the wait. Besides the display and power it feels alot like the V90.

Hi I am waiting for my piece and I want to thank you for your video. I am the owner of miyoo mini and I have a question on the internet I found that it should be possible to play some games from ps2 not something about it?

Thanks for watching, I have not seen anything with this device regarding PS2. If it was possible it would more than likely be via some type of remote play,but again I have not seen or heard anything like that. And PS2 on this hardware will not work at all.

I agree. It should be similar price to the 35XXSP. The Miyoo Flip plastic molding and gaps make it look cheap. Plus that hinge doesn't instill confidence like the Anbernic
