I got the neo 2 version for £60 in England in a 10.5 and the fit is perfect.In some shoes like Nike etc I'm a 10 bit extra half size and the wide fit really helps.Great quality too so I can imagine the neo 3 are unreal

I haven't had the chance to try any other pair of turf boots recently, but I've heard decent comments about the Adidas Speedflow line (now Speedportal). Hopefully they are back in stock soon.

It's a comfortable fit, however, I wouldn't compare them to running shoes as cleats are quite different. You can find them on soccer.com, worldsoccershop.com, or directly on the Mizuno website.

@@DavidCanales You didn't understand him. The first tier of Nike and Adidas turf boots use fancier EVA in their midsole, which supposedly give more energy return. e.g. React or Lunarlon (Nike), Lightstrike or Boost (Adidas).

Would you say your width is narrow medium or medium wide? I found the morelia alphas to be extremely narrow and the new balance 442 v2 to be just perfect. How does this compare?

I haven't had the chance to try those specific pairs, but I would say they are closest to a narrow medium or medium. There's good room in the toe box and they're super comfortable.

Could you give an update on how durable this boot is? Artificial Turf is known to wear out shoes quickly. Do outsole and upper K-leather hold up well? Thanks.

I've had this boot for over two years now and it has held up really well! The main thing would be some minor peeling of the leather near the front. The outsole is holding up great, still intact with the leather, it hasn't come apart. This would be using the cleats 1-2 times per week.

I haven't had any issues with blisters at the heel, they've been quite comfortable from the start. Might be a matter of making sure to order the right size.

How about sizing? It’s feet perfectly or better to buying one size up? Usually I wear sneakers size 11 but when I buy soccer shoes I always get 11.5-12

I would go true to size (to what you typically wear in cleats). Some people would even go 1/2 a size down for this pair. You might be able to find a more detailed sizing guide on their website.

I find Nike boots are typically on the tighter end - these ones provide more room and are much more comfortable. The lacing and lockdown are great on the Mizunos too.

I haven't personally tried the Tiempo Pro, so can't say anything for certain. The Mizuno pair provides top-end quality all around, the major difference being the soleplate for artificial turf (compared to their FG model).

11 months late, but... Tiempo Pro TF: - calfskin leather upper - a thinner, more barefoot touch - 'React' midsole cushioning - heavier weight than the Mizuno Mizuno Morelia III Pro TF: - kangaroo leather - a more padded touch - standard EVA midsole cushioning - lighter weight than the Nike Note: the Tiempo TFs have a known durability issue with the upper separating from the outsole at the toe, due to the low toebox, lack of suede bumper, and thin rubber lip. Bear in mind these Mizuno TF boots may well have exactly the same issue, as it too lacks a suede bumper or thick rubber lip at the toe. It does seem to have a higher toebox, however, which may help.

You could, but I probably wouldn't recommend it. AG fields have longer grass and it's hard to get a good grip without FG/AG studs. These are best for turf fields where the grass is quite short.

I would say they run close to true to size. I'd estimate a 1/4 size down, so if the Adidas 8.5 is relatively loose, then you might benefit from the Mizuno 8. However, if your Adidas 8.5 already fits tight, it might be best to stick to a Mizuno 8.5. Hope it helps.

What's the difference between a turf pair and one for AG?

AG stands for artificial grass. Usually these pairs will be a modified stud pattern, somewhere in-between an FG and TF model. The turf pair is meant for turf, which is a much shorter artificial surface. The turf pairs, such as this one, may not provide enough grip on an AG surface. Hope this helps.

I Thought these were a bit long--bought 9.5 size specifically cuz I thought Mizuno's are good for wide feet---but it was as if I was in a nike size 10 . Loved the feel of K leather in the forefoot, but the edges near ankle were cutting into my skin and lead to open wounds! Second time I had to take ankle area to prevent blistering/cutting. Also annoying was how low the ankle cuff was and lack of padded cuff to hug ankle and limit pellets into the shoe. After playing twice in them, I really regret buying them--and for full price USD $ 110 ; tldr ---- I would not buy again or recommend.

Why I dont like: 1) ankle cuff edges are not rolled edges ie they cut into your ankle 2) ankle cuff is low and turf pellets get into the shoe too easily ...ended up keeping the shoes and using tape to prevent the ankle cuff edge from cutting into my skin and more tape to wrap the ankle so pellets dont get in. Add's five min of prep and had to buy rolls of white tape.@@DaniellMilton

I've heard the same thing, although I didn't have that issue myself. If you prefer a tighter fit then going a 1/2 size down would probably suit you best.

Durability has been great compared to other pairs! Keep in mind this is the turf variation, not quite the same as AG. I've had them for 1.5 years, and the boots only show signs of regular wear and tear.

Yes! Soft kangaroo leather in the forefoot, and then synthetic materials in the midfoot and heel liner. Premium quality at a much lower price than the FG model.

You can use TF boots just fine on dry AG. Especially cheap, worn out AG pitches, which are everywhere.

Problems with these boots: - The grip/traction simply isn't good enough. If you play with intensity, you WILL slip on any artificial pitch thicker than true astroturf. Many other TF boots grip well enough to play on cheap AG. These boots _do not._ - The outsole is too flimsy and flexible, even by TF boot standards. There's truly zero responsiveness, and below-average support. It's like you're wearing slippers -- while that's very comfortable, it does not benefit performance or safety during play. I don't hate these boots -- the touch is nice and they are comfortable. But it has one of the worst performing outsoles I've ever experienced with a TF boot. They should only be used on carpet-type pitches, playing low-intensity small-sided futsal.

No, you don't. Not when it's dry. He said this in the video. TF boots are good for short, shallow depth AG. The traction isn't aggressive, but you won't slip so long as it's not wet. Source: I train with TF boots on AG, because it's easier on your feet and joints.
