Mizuno's were literally the shoes my dad used wear in the 80's and 90's. I think he got into them because he played handball.

How do these fit? I usually wear a size 9 in ASICS Kayano 14, should I go True to size or half a size up?

Always loved Mizuno. It’s like Japanese New Balance and heavily underrated

I bought the shoe because they aren't obnoxious looking to me, as many new shoes are. My GF hates them for some reason. Dad shoe aspect? Probably. I'm not old, I'm classic. LOL. The same with the look of this shoe. My only complaint is that they have zero arch support, which I have gotten used to having in running shoes. Granted, these are not running shoes. And I agree, they are made for a wider foot, which I don't have. Live and learn.
