I use mizuno golf shoes and they are very nice but in all my years I've never seen anyone use mizuno running shoes. I've never even seen a pair on the road. I wish they would reduce the price and entice people to try them. Nice review 👍

Cheers, Roy! Mizuno has their hand in a lot of sports, running being just one of them. I agree; they do have to get their pricing in line with the the rest of the market.

Great review. I've run ~1K km on the Wave Sky 3. They held up great for all my runs and will now get to retire as my walking shoes.

Good to hear! If you like the Wave Sky 4 I think you’ll love the newest Wave Sky 6. I’ve seen a lot of the shoe reviewers raving about the Nimbus 25, but I haven’t tried them yet.

Thanks for this. 🐷 I just found your channel and quite like it. I switched to Sky after Enigma and it's been a little uneven for me - breathability, and then the build quality of the knit (great walking shoe though). The 5 has been solid and pain free though and I'm encouraged by your review here so hopefully the trend is up. One question if you were kind enough to read this far: is the sizing true to last year or do I need to try this one on? Thanks Matt, I look forward to watching more reviews.

With the absence of wave plate combined with good cushion, does Sky6 offers good heel firmness n stability in run.. For daily jog/ run + day long wear.. multi purpose...WR26 or Sky6..?

The Sky 6 certainly feels stable enough for a neutral shoe but I I had my choice I’d go with the WR26.

I would say the WS6 is better, but it also depends on how you like a shoe to feel under foot: the Winflo 10 feels much softer (which isn’t always a good thing).

Great review (as always) and that's a sharp-looking shoe! I just picked up the NB Fresh Foam X 1080v12 (my first NBs) and I am absolutely loving them for my easy/long runs. Tried the Brooks Glycerine 20s but they were much too firm for me for an easy day/long run shoe. I was quite disappointed. But I love the 1080s! 🐷

Solid review bro 🐷 I noticed you said others may get more mileage than you will in this shoe. You think the heat conditions we run in here have anything to do with wear? I feel like my daily trainers in particular are wearing considerably quicker than they did when I lived up north!

That’s a good question, and of course the properties of rubber change with the temperature but I’ve never heard anyone talk about it. This has the potential of being a high mileage shoe for me. I just don’t see enough wear yet to make me think they’ll wear down quickly.

I am not a mizuno fan, but this may be one to try. Currently, i am enjoying NB 1080 v11 and Saucony Ride 13 for my easy runs.

This model has been my favorite Mizuno shoe so far, but I get it; all shoes aren’t for everyone! The 1080 and Ride are excellent shoes so if it ain’t broke….

It really depends on how much you over pronate. I’ve been using the Saucony Tempus and ASICS Kayano 29 and they’re good for mild pronation.

🤔 The Bondi is lighter, but that’s not as important when you’re walking. I think the Wave Sky will last you much longer and it’s a little firmer than the Bondi!
