You’re so right about all fans being equal. I was born in 1996 so I never got a chance to see him live. While I was a casual fan from childhood, I was only 13 when he passed away and lacked empathy so I didn’t understand the grief. Now at 22, I understand completely just how much of an impact he made on the world and I’m proud to be a moonwalker.

Will You Be There is so underrated, and I’m so befuddled by the amount of people who’ve put it low on their list or said, “yeah it’s just that Free Willy song, meh”. Yet, to me, it’s one of his most emotionally charged and passionate songs, it’s always spoken to me so much. I’m so glad you appreciate it too, and I miss Michael so much.

i cried at the dangrous tour (barcelona and madrid 1992) when he sang man in the mirror. it was the big finale.....very gospel oriented adlibs all over......the grammys 1988 perfomance was heartbreaking too ( i taped it on vhs when it was broadcasted ) with different adlibs than the tour version or the album track. oh i forgot about the moonwalker version too. i missed a lot this song at the bad tour( madrid 1988) i don‘t know why they skipped the song here. they made changes in the track list during the touring. i think he used this song like a blessing from above. he gave a platform to siedah garrett and she gave him the song he was looking for in his heart. you can tell because he bleeds inside and the ad libbing can‘t stop.

Triumph tour was definitely my absolute favorite and I am happy I was there. The posthumous album Xscape has my firstborn son that I named Michael after Michael Jackson playing trumpet on the song of the same name. Enjoy your videos.

I am born 1990 so I really missed going and see MJ in real life, the first time he was in Sweden was 92 with dangerous tour and then 1997 when i was 7 I didnt become a fan until in school haha! I became a fan 2002, I was a hardcore MJ fan back then! I still love him and the art he did! no matter what I get intrested in, Michael are always a huge part of me, he will always be a huge part of my heart even tho I am into Jpop and japanese things nowadays and try to focus on my life! its been sucha long time since I ever was in the MJ fandom and when I was as dedicated as you are now, we didnt even have a fandom name that I know of, the impersonators I remember is E.Casanova, earnest valentino and navi :D they were the most known impersonators and to the new fans of MJs be proud of it even if you are new! you might as well had not have found him and his music! and that you got see and know that Michael is one of the most beautiful person inside and out, he's legacy lives through his fans,kids,family and friends, new fans are continuing his legacy and keeps his memory alive, Michael would just love it if he was here to see new fans loving his work no matter what age :D

I’m a younger fan, and sadly don’t remember him, I was around 4 when he died, and when i really got into Michael was around 10. I do love though how cool it is to learn new thing, and how he has impacted my life so much, I have never had a person such as him make me have so many emotions (like crying, or be a better person and respect people more) but I love him and can’t wait to learn even more.❤️

I was only 6, so I've easily forgotten about his death and even about him. But one day, I just heard his voice inside me. Everything came back. I moved a year and a half ago up to the mountains, an hour and half from Hollywood. The community I live in is filled with many people in the entertainment industry, been lucky to meet some that worked with Michael over the years. They told me Scream was their favorite to work on. I live about 10 minutes from where Michael filmed his "Have You Seen My Childhood" I have spoken to the camp director at the time Michael filmed there, but I have yet to go there. I am hoping to get a few people together this June to go visit the sight, with the camp director at that time leading the way, it's a big forest and she will be the best guide, with some history from her about the time.

I'm originally from Augusta, Georgia, born and raised, the same place as James Brown. (Technically, he born in South Carolina, but claimed Augusta as his hometown.) When James Brown died in 2006, his funeral was held at the Civic Center in Augusta, Georgia, now called the James Brown Arena, the same place as my high school graduation. When MJ arrived at the funeral in 2006, the whole time I was thinking, "I marched across that same stage!"

Great video, as always. You are right about the fan community, we should treat each other equally, it's hard enough to cope with negative comments from haters/non-fans, we don't need to fight among ourselves on top of all that. I became a fan some time in February 2009 (four months before he passed away), I've never got a chance to meet him or see him live in concert, and I regret every day that I haven't, but I was too young during those times anyway. Now all I'm left with is his music, short films and performances and I'm thankful for that. As for your future videos, I would love to see the list of your favorite MJ songs (including Jackson 5 and The Jacksons) or, if that's too hard, favorite items from your collection (CDs, DVDs or anything else...). I want 2 share some of my experiences.....I got the chance 2 speak 2 Joe Jackson when I was at The Victory Tour concert in Philly & also at the concert when Michael was performing his Billie Jean number when he took off his hat & threw it 2 the audience it was coming straight towards me but it fell 2 people that was in front of me & alot of hands was grabbing 4 it.....I almost got it....I do have more stories 2 tell.....

I know this was posted over a year ago but I am binge watching your videos 🤣 I have been a Michael fan for almost 8 years now which is CRAZY! I'm 21 😊 I love that you addressed not worrying what people think about being a Mike fan. That guy has literally pulled me out of my worst times, he got me through my teens, he helped me overcome some really severe road anxiety because I'd listen to him in the car to calm myself down. I have always struggled with anxiety and panic attacks but he is like magic to my brain, for real. Mostly just being able to go back and watch his smile, his laugh, his silliness, etc helps me always. I would not be who I am without that sweet man. I hate the fact that I will never be able to thank him, because I know he'd love hearing what he has brought me through in my life. 😊

Id say Got To Be There...Gone Too Soon...and One More Chance (both 2003 and 1984). One record I can not play entirely through for the excessiveness in reason mentioned above would be 1) Childhood 2) Smile 3) Be Not Always (did I say one 🤔😅).

When different generations of MJ fans told you that I don't think they realize how insecure they came across about their age that's how It come across to me. I've been told that before not with MJ but with different artists they would tell me you don't know nothing about that young boy when I listen to some old school R&B or hip-hop. I've got attacked one time for Being a MJ fan when I was in the bathroom at school listening to Streetwalker and someone said this motherfucker is listening to Michael Jackson. After that I kind of just turn my music down when I was around other people but over the years I didn't care what nobody think anymore. Mj is the greatest in my opinion and other MJ fans opinion. But some people don't think so but it is what it is they have a right to their opinion But don't try to bash people for the music they listen to.

You'll always be understood by us fellow MJ lovers. Not silly. I have Aspergers and am Savant and went through severe trauma as a child. Mike was my guiding light. He got me through LIFE. I may have been a fan 32 years, but that doesn't make me better/more of a fan than ANY one else. I don't give a crap when you were born. My daughter was born 2014 and ADORES Michael. My mother is in her 70s, dad in early 60s, they got to see Elvis, more of Michael when he was younger. What are your feelings about all of Michaels personal awards and belongings being auctioned off. I still don’t understand why money would take such priority over preserving it all for fans to visit like they did for Elvis with Graceland. Even without Neverland being the location for the museum they could have easily built an amazing structure somewhere. All his stuff is now scattered everywhere. It’s unfortunate.

I agree with you and also wish Michael had a place like Graceland with all of his belongings. Thankfully Michael's career was so long that I am hopeful that many of his things are still in possession either by the estate or of other parties who will put them on "loan" to the museum. Unfortunate that it will likely be this scenario but, at long as it's all in one place, I am ok with something like that.
