I also have to ask why no one bothered to ask these questions when Michael was alive. Those of us who knew of the disease Lupus and Vitiligo, we knew about the umbrella and the glove. But for the past 15+ years it was taken as weird. Now we suddenly have the press going oh my god....this is why Michael Jackson did these things. Saddening.

They don't know how hard for Michael to be in that situation, had to even up his skin color to lighter because he suffered from lupus and vitiligo. People kept on focusing on his skin color and the surgeries, never seriously discussed about his diseases. I'm so sorry for Michael 😢

At 1st, Michael kept his skin condition hidden from everyone., even his makeup artist. He talked about it with Oprah, adding that it was medical and should be private. At the same time, Oprah kept pushing. Poor man. The media needed to give it up and leave him alone or if they wanted to talk about him, tell about the GOOD he did. MJ wasn't weird or odd. I just wish he was still with us. RIP Michael

mj had lupus since like 81, 83, some media ppl digged in his medical files, and it was listed and the rumors of lupus have been spread about him since 84 when he got burned. he was diagnossed with vitiligo in 86, i think i heard the doctor when he said it, but mj had that red rash on his cheeks since 82, idk

No way they would do a story like this while he was still alive. They only did “pedophile” “he’s a freak” “he’s broke” stories. Media coverage after MJ died was so infuriating. They hated him and dragged him through the mud for years like bullies in a school yard. He should have just wrote music and ignored him. So much great music we missed out on because of all this craziness around him.

I think Dr. Klein took one look at him and saw the telltale Lupus rash across the nose/cheeks and told MJ he had Lupus many years ago - and I believe he said that on Larry King Live.

oh i thought you knew about lupus its called Raynaud's Phenomena. ppl with sle lupus get that, and mj would put tape on his fingers during the bad era and again in 2005, thats why i think it developed to sle lupus not just discoid.

She said allegedly burned he's scalp he's hairn skin was literally burned off on camera and the scarring was so bad hair wouldn't grow where the second and third degree burns were the woman's acting like oh I can allow him he's ways because he had vitiligo and lupus etc etc so the pain medication starting explains itself n that road is a long n suffering one n more xhael was bullied constantly for 20 yrs accused of being a peado being gay being mad truth is he was special u only get someone so far above ev one else every few hundred years I see him on tour for bad and dangerous at Wembley and it was to a level others couldn't match right up until the ghosts movie and songs he was top drawer vocally dancing and stage presence hell be remembered forever
