If I saw those 2000's or older sets for a decent price I would totally buy them, there is just something so wild about old Star Wars sets, and the yellow skin tone feels so nostalgic. Also the mechs have amazingly detailed figures in a cheap set.

Technic is one of the best if not the best type of Lego out there, it’s very creative because it only can use axel and technic pin(connectors), it’s also kinda cheap if your looking at the right sets, and it has lots of play features

It came with a cool Han frozen in carbonite, but it doesn't look like he got it with his set. Definitely helps the set, and other than size it is more accurate than most sets from that year.

I remember the original Slave 1, it was so horrible and couldnt stay together, pieces breaking, that my parents got me a 2nd one only for that to happen again. The original sets were pretty bad

The stormtrooper mech is the only one that would make sense in universe cause there stormtroopers it's possible they could have a standard issue mech to stomp out rebel scum. 05:09 I don’t get the hate for the 4+ ATST set. Sure it was a great set, but it’s designed for 4 year olds to build! What it did come with is the only Ewok figure we’ve had for years and the same Scout Trooper figure as found in the endor speeder chase set! So two good figures for a set that costs less than what you could get the figures alone for on BL (I always saw the set discounted so).

Also made for kids?
