Hey you! Remember me? Remember love? Remember trying to stay together? My time, you took it all You tried to see You tried to bring yourself up without involving me It isn't fair, to have your way To try and get up and go and na na na na now can't you see It isn't fair to have your way But I'm trying to get your attention and I need you to know that Hey you! Hey you! Can't you make this thing? I know, I know, I know you ain't the one to play the game Now I know I'm never gonna go your way Here we go, now I know, I know know know Forever I try to make it right Together we suck, end in sight I'm tired of fighting the good fight If you say the word then I'll say goodbye Forever I see you and me Forever I'll try for you and I No I never believed in the reason

If you look at early haim music from years ago they've really developed into a great band, a big part I think to finally getting an awesome drummer to drive the beats.

Danielle played all the drums on the album, just saying
@bottleracket10 жыл бұрын
captaindillo album is great. i'm talking earlier live performances where they had a different drummer. no comparison to this guy
@uria7023 жыл бұрын
Their sound is definitely inspired by that type of electronic-blend music along with some rock also.

Danielle always reminds me of Patti Smith

+tomorr ow Except that Patti Smith cannot play an instrument to save her life.
@Neuroneos8 жыл бұрын
It's pretty well-known that Patti Smith is a writer and poet rather than a musician.
@VisionaryCompanion8 жыл бұрын
Yes, but Smith has referred to herself as a rocker and a musician since the seventies, and she has promoted the idea that rock music is all about attitude rather than musicianship. She is only partially right, and her tendency to pose with a Stratocaster is irksome, because she cannot play it.

good band, pity about the crowd
@ajwoodger9 жыл бұрын
musicisakey You do realise that these people are being quite to be respectful to the musicians so that the songs can be heard place they are all heavily drunk, they start recording this at like 9-10pm and are all drinking pretty consistently till about 1am whilst many of them are performing.

They're so much better live, than their recordings. I was a bit dissapointed with the album version of this track - it's a bit plastic/poppy/over produced

The drummer has Tourette's. The red lipstick wearing guitarist is gurning. Not good. How did this female version of Hanson win an award? Beats me!
@roryscott932210 жыл бұрын
What an absolutely stupid comment. This 'female version of Hanson' has written and produced a stunning indie pop album, ubiquitous on pretty much every reputable music journalism publication's 'Album of the Year' list. And what an Adonis you must be to belittle these musicians with your callow judgement of their appearance. Maybe if you spent a little more time actually listening to the music instead of scrutinising the band's looks then perhaps you might get a little more out of their art.
@rtelson10 жыл бұрын
I don't know what gurning is but I must like it because Este, the red lipstick wearing guitarist, is awesome.
@Kapusky10 жыл бұрын
Why are you even using a Hanson comparison as an insult to compare them anyway? Hanson's awesome (STILL awesome I might add. Check out their recent live performances) and so are these girls.

Rory Scott For real. Pablo's a berk. Now that fact is out of the way, I must admit that Haim has been a slow - burner for me. It took a while for me to grasp the nuances of their sound that kept me interested, but I get it now. For me, they have varying degrees of elements of the following artists (artistes?)....Fleetwood Mac (obvious but true), The Motels, Pat Benatar, The Bangles, The Pretenders, Wendy & Lisa, Martika...a fine mesh of talent, but they're not copyists at all - they have their own groove. And it sounds nothing like the mmmbop kids. That's such a lazy reference.

They aren't perfect by any means! But they are unique and original and have their own sound. They write their own tracks, they all play multiple instruments and aren't just record company puppets! For me that counts for a lot! And their songs are great! As I said they aren't flawless but thats ok! No one is perfect ffs! What would you rather have? Some cheesy commercially prodcued band who's song's are written for them who stand up on stage and mime? Catch yourself on!
