My radio just went out in my 2010 forte. This is helpful. Kia wants to charge me $600 to replace it. Update: all I needed was a new radio installed. A wire in my old one was killing my battery.

I liked it a first but I'd rather use the stock radio. The stock radio runs a lot smoother than the aftermarket kia forte radios.

I have a 2014 Hyundai ix35 which is also known as a Tucson. Its basically the same car as a Kia Sportage, just cosmetic differences. I bought an android head unit with very similar connections to yours in the video but I cant get it to work as my model has a factory fitted amp that uses SPDIF. The loom that came with the unit powered it up ok but I had no sound. The seller sent me a new loom that says its for a Sorrento which has an SPDIF adapter box in the loom but it wont even power the unit now. I have no instructions so if anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate it!

I have the same exact radio I wired it up an accidentally touched the red an black wire an I don't know what fuse it blew in the car but the radio won't work anymore. I can plug it up to a dc power supply an it turn on any opinions on what fuse to change are anything I could do?

There's a little red 10a fuse on the back of the actual head unit. You probably blew that one.

If you have a Kia with the navigation tech upgrade with OEM amp, these do NOT plug and play.

Yes because the frame wasnt made good so you have to keep the screws loose so buttons dont get stuck

Lic. Rafael Perdomo pioneer makes universal decks, just buy any of the double din MVH models and take it to someone who installs decks and that’s it. It may not be the same fitment but it works great.
