it's not only limited to 400m though, that's only due to FCC regulations....you can change elevation limits through the GUI up to 800m, and video transmission up to 600m...

Hi, can you please give me specs for the 5400mAh battery pack please? I'm ordering my Q500 tomorrow (PAY DAY!!!) and I am also ordering a spare battery. Reason for the specs, is that I am purchasing a LiPo Protection bags, but "individual" bags, rather than one big back. I need to know if the batts will be completely encapsulated by the individual bags. The Individual bags are 185mm x 75mm x 60mm The Q500 Battery is huge.

the go pro has to be turn on first before you fly. the radio ST-10 don't hook up to it. the only thing the radio controls is the up and down movement of the camera it wont take still pictures once you land the copter you have to manually shut off the go pro. if you download the go pro app you could probably manipulate the cameras power switch off/on i guess depending on the WI fi. but for the price this copter is great one TIP, practice. practice, practice flying it on angle mode this copter will get away from you if you not careful.

+Hunter Antill I have the DJI phantom fc40, which we all know means Phantom 1. Phantom fc40 is awesome, phantom 3 is way better, ...lets not even talk about the phantom 4. This drone on the video looks awesome, in my opinion it looks better than any phantom model. The downside about this drone is that, this one actually flies away. My dji phantom 1 NEVER flies away because it warms up to where it takes off so its up to you if you want to take the risk.

Nice video you made here. I bouth Yuneec Q500 4K fore 1 week ago. From before I had a Dji Phantom 2 Vison+ I was not happy With that so I sold it. Like you say, Its mutch fore the Money With Yuneec. 2 battery, stedygrip, 2 sett propell, sender st10+ With build in screen, cable so you can load battery from car. I have this hard case fore travell, Its fantastic. And the drone work good like you say. I have my New drone in air 2 times. I film on the moutain and resault was fantastic))) Camera is very good. Maby the moust important yunnec answer you on their support after only some houers)). I Write Dji before but them never answer me. Happy flying!

Onur Hei, you bay it because of 5 kilometer range?. I have never fly my drone moore than 500-600 meter away. I be 130 meter high. Not good to fly if you not se Your drone With eye. Many Things can happen. I had 2 fly away With Dji Vision+. But now them use Gps/Glnass together. Yuneec use Gps/Glonass in sender and drone. You get moore fore the Money With Yuneec. 2 battery, them are exspencive. Hard case. Stedy grip coust mutch. And moore. Its bigger moore easy to se in sky. Im happy With my New Yuneec q500-4k. Good deal it is. But If you only want range then bay Dji.
