This is truly motivational, especially for a current undergrad AcSci student. I'm writing my Financial Mathematics Exam (for the exemption) in less than a week's time and it helps to know that everyone struggles with that subject! Second-year really is tough, even here at Maties. Keep up with the great videos - for now, I'll be running back to your CT1 videos.

Knowing that others struggle as well is helping a lot, especially when you mentioned S angle n from annuities, when I first took that class my professor never properly explained it and directly insultede when I tried asking what the notation meant

9:19 is my current situation 😂😂im in my first year at UCT. But I struggled to understand present value and annuities over different periods. Just a side remark if you can make tutorial videos on introduction to financial risk for us first years it will be highly appreciated.

the thing is, Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Science dont mix, you cant jump from Financial maths to Actuary...coz actuarry is more like rules, Financial Maths is into mathematics.... There so many things in FM that in actuarial science its not the.....Even if you do FM, you dont have to do all of those Exams
