Believe it or not, on rural country roads its safer to drive more in the middle than the side lane, as long as you can see cars coming from at least a half mile or so. The reason - you have more reaction time if a deer or other animal jumps out the forest and in front of you. I used to live off a very dangerous country road in Louisiana ( ranked somewhere In the top 10 of most fatalities on American highways ) and many people had bumper stickers on their cars that said "pray for me, I drive Lee road"!

Story 1. BS. He said he left his car running when he went to drop the delivery off at the front door. Then he ran from the guy, found police, then when they looked for them and only found his car, the guy said he was surprised no one looted his car. Uhh I’d be surprised no one STOLE my car leaving the keys in and it running. Nice try though.
