I just got mine and accidentally hit a telephone pole at 20 mph..was shocked nothing broke..mine has metal knuckles..i also installed nice aluminum shocks..great car!

JJRC brushless RCs seem to be absolutely awesome. I have the Q130 trophy truck and it never broke until I overheated the motor and it doesn't move anymore. It has taken more abuse than I've ever seen. And the motor wasn't even a breakage, just overuse.

I want that Q130 SCT. I've seen it around on KZbin and I'm thinking I might review one. Not sure how popular it still is, but I don't care either, I just want it because I want it and I LOVE short course trucks!

@Rek_Rc I got it on Temu for $11.10 all in. Some crazy "invite a friend" deal. I couldn't believe it but it sure was true lol. Best $11 I've ever spent! And yeah, I love SCTs too. I got the whole Arrma lineup, and started with the Senton after watching your videos about it a while back. They're all awesome!

We had a friend with and excavator come over and get us started. But yes having something to drag the surface with is a huge help. It's amazing how well it actually smooths the track.

They look a lot like the UDI 1/12 cars - e.g. UD1202. but cost less? it looks quite different inside tho can't wait to see the completed track. Looks like you have some nice clay dirt there. My backyard is sandy, so i've used carpet. But first I used my 1/10 cars to carve out the berms :D

my ocd was kicking in at how much of that pinion wasn't aligned with the spur. you'll get uneven wear, and quicker

We do luckily have nice natural clay with a bit of loose diet on top. We actually still run RC cars on it while constructing the track because they will create their own wear patterns and it helps us understand how they might get along on the finished track as we go.

I also have hypergo and these cars are great also..the radio is also much better..i paid $88 for this truck with aluminum shocks to my door..worth every penny..

Faster, handles better, has proper suspension geometry so it can chassis slap in the front. More body shell options. Less slop. Better drivetrain. Cheaper. Explain how it’s worse?

I see what this person is doing, flooding the comments with hyperbole because they have some weird beef with this company, or because they bought X RC truck that cost more and they're upset that they paid too much, or bought the wrong model. It's like the Traxxas people who wanna pretend that only Traxxas RCs are any good. Because they paid so much they feel entitled to look down on everyone else.

Sometimes with Amazon, you need to factor in the possibility of user error. I saw a review where some person claimed that they received a used RC. Their reasoning ? Simply because the battery they received with the car was "only" 80% charged. So "someone must have driven it already" See, this customer did not understand the fact that in most countries, the shipping companies require lithium batteries to be shipped out in a state of "storage charge", which is approximately 80% You have to read the good reviews and the bad ones, because sometimes, "random customer #56" doesn't understand what they're talking about. Also, I find it highly unlikely that you read 1,000 reviews to find out how many people returned the product. Because how else do you know how many ("thousand") people returned a product? I've used Amazon for over a decade and there's nowhere on the product page that tells you how many customers returned a given product. I call BS.
