He has won the Kerala Sahithya Academy award for his first book, Uttarakhandiloode - Kailas Mansarovar Yatra in the year 2005.His other books are Thapobhoomi Uttarakhand, Adi Kailasa Yathra , Devabhoomiyiloode and Dakinimarude Hridayabhoomiyiloode.

I fail to understand when people say a human has DIVYA something. I understand that a person has read and attained knowledge and some can recite them non-stop some can use the knowledge to explain common human transactions. Apart from that the DIVYATHUAM escapes my understanding. May be I'm an idiot in that field but I can confirm that I do not fall for fancy dress that many of those DIVYANS walk around in. I haven't seen any supernatural performance by any of these people who call themselves Sanyasis, babas or gurus. Most of the time I see them as people who chose a life without any human responsibilities having chosen a VESHAM different from the mainstream. Shorn off all accoutrements they are just plain humans in the natural avatar.

Totally agree with you. I have met many sadhus living in higher altitudes while trekking in Uttarakhand. They had extraordinary endurance and physical powers due to constant yoga practice, but no supernatural powers. This gentleman's travelogues are 90% fiction and 10% truth.
