Captain marvel was my favorite character in this game then flash. They gave him just about every tool you would need. Projectile. Command grab. Teleport. Rush attacc. The lighting summon. Thunder clap. Dude was staccd! As the big red cheese should be💪🏾💯

First, I like to start off by saying fuck the name change to Shazam. As far as I am concerned, Billy Batson's superhero name will always will be Captain Marvel. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let me say that Billy Batson/Captain Marvel is an excellent character. He is a character with Superman levels of power, but with the personality, mind, and perspective of a kid. That to me is an awesome concept and idea. For those who do not know, Billy Batson/Captain Marvel was the most popular superhero of the 1940s, outselling every major superhero at that time, including Superman himself. To see this character get a major boost in popularity and recognition thanks to his success in the DC Cinematic franchise is awesome and a blessing. Granted, he is not as popular as he once was during the '40s, it is still excellent to see him to get out of that B list status.

@@brennanmalo5857 he was the first captan marvel. He was called this for years until marvel took legal action over the name,then the switch it to Shazam after the wizard.

@@jluda468 Marvel didn't take legal action, the trademark for the name simply ran out after DC sued Fawcett comics, and Marvel grabbed it, meaning only Marvel could use the name for branding, but DC was always still allowed to call the character Captain Marvel. Legally, nothing changed when the switch happened, DC presumably thought it would be better for marketing if the name of character matched the name one the book, which was his catchphrase Shazam, since they couldn't call his book "Captain Marvel".
