Been following this, glad to see everything coming together. Big job to get drivability on a 298 to start with nevermind running a carb even. Never even heard of a 38/38 either. Definitely catching some tips here, thanks for the content and updates

Hi there. I have a video of doing the new cam look it up have to cut cylinder head fir 298 cam, it's a estas cam. SA camtech in jhb look them up.

Hi there. Did the carburetor in jet park. Pro tuning they will help you if you have this idea if build on your car.

Hey, I have also the 1.8 8v engine but with 2 dellorto's still wit stock cams. I can choose 284 and the 292 wat do you recommend?

Hi there. If you going to use the car as a daily I recommend 284 cam, more power 292 will be your next option, you can go bigger on the pistons, bigger valves, branches to, you will gain alot of power like that,
