It’s so cool to see the cinematography use for making these fatalities, these may look goofy from this 2D view but it makes you appreciate how well they use angles, retakes and screen visuals to make the fatalities look a lot cooler and gruesome in thier original form

Some of these still look incredible in the 2D perspective, like Reiko, Stryker and Sindel Others look completely goofy because of the way the animation was split in multiple takes and merged together, like Rain, Tanya and Raiden Personally, I think NRS could make that Kameo Fatalities have a 50% chance of playing in the 2D perspective since they are all pretty much seamless, only adjusting the victory pose in the end (like in MKX/MK11)

God there's something so brutal about seeing these fatalities at this angle, with the shots in game they feel exaggerated thanks to the camera angles, but seeing them from this view almost looks like you are a spectator and actually seeing it in front of you, it makes it feel like they're dying right in front of your eyes.
