The most interesting thing about Homelander is that he literally lies to himself. He himself knows that he’s not special, he’s not a real hero, he’s basically a bum cosplaying as someone he’s not. Homelander is literally just The Deep but more powerful This is why I hope he doesn’t die at the end of the show, I wanna see him without powers and forced to live that way
