What people dont realize is this is the Ghostface from the MOVIES, which has no connection with Scary Movie. The reason why DBD Ghostie has the wazzup mask and a few others from the 90s is that its not the one from the movies. They just had the rights to the masks, not the IP hence them having to make a totally new origin story for Ghostie in DBD. Fun World being involved is the deciding factor.

The fact that people are complaining about there being no wazzup mask just goes to show that they have no idea how licensing works However, I *would* be down to see more masks and robes from outside the films in the future (like the tactical fit from DBD and the Lakewood Slasher mask from the TV series). But it all just depends on whether or not NRS will be able to get the rights to include any of such, someway, somehow.

At times like this I really appreciate how Mk11 did guest characters. Spawn had a modern outfit, a classic outfit, medieval, and an armored outfit sure there were recolors but it offered more customization.

@@Bacondude77 plus every character had 3 pieces of gear with at least 20 different options each, INCLUDING DLC. Plus AT LEAST 4 different skins with 10 pallettes each. That means that every character, including dlc, required the developers make up at least 60 gear pieces, 4 costumes and 40 pallettes. They could with MK11 but now omniman has to have some random gloves option and 3 shitty recolors of THE ONLY OUTFIT it will ever have on the game? Are you fucking serious?

People really need to understand the reason why the wazzup mask or anything related to scary movie isn't in this game. Ghostface is a character whose rights are split between 2 companies. The company that owns scream and the company that owns the rights to the ghost face Halloween costume, which is the company fun world. Scary movie is owned by a company separate from scream's Parent company and fun world. And the only reason dead by daylight got away with it was because they didn't own the rights to scream they owned the rights to the fun world halloween costume. If mortal kombat wanted that mask, they would have had to go through not one but two different movie production companies and get them to agree on it. dead by daylight, on the other hand, I would have only had to clear it with fun world, who I highly doubt would care that much considering they're not as high dollar as a movie production company.
