Because he is reliant on Stryker covering his unsafeness. Scorpion in general can only succeed using ambush type kameos.

No overhead or lows that can combo into anything , everything can be punished even spear from full screen, all he has is highs up close, no mix whatsoever....how many other characters in the game can you say that about? Stryker dresses up his massive flaws but the character in itself is dogwater , look at the rest of the roster and how many characters have a worse bag of tools than him?

@@dirtyschoolclothes7260By the same token, this game at the end of it all is kameos. How Scorpion succeeds is irrelevant so long as he succeeds. Stryker is basically a part of his kit and when Stryker isn’t available, it’s easy to just move away for a few seconds until he returns. Javier has gotten really far using the supposed worst character in the game. Doesn’t matter how he did it, but the fact that he did it.

Its a reason you only see one player excelling with him at the highest of levels, its not a good character..name all the other gamers thats running with Scorpion and placing high with him since he isn't a bad character, the prize pool players don't even want to touch him in tournaments because they know how flawed he is, Javi is just a loyalist but he even knows the character is dog water

I have it explained on my page, also make sure you're using the ex teleport which cost a bar ..once the shoulder connects then you want to hit the kick, it's almost a very small gap inbetween time between the shoulder hitting then the kick, dont try to kick soon as teleporting let the shoulder hit first then immediately kick
