@vengeance112 it's very rare I see smoke players actually use cancels and his kit right. Sub zero you can accidently be good at him. He's got like what, 3 moves? Back 2, push into corner, ice clone. Wow. So kuch depth to a character

Smoke does have more depth but way easier to win with than sub zero, sub is extremely slow and has lower damage than most of the cast if you don’t know optimals. He barely has any kameos that have synergy with him and his clone is not the greatest that only stays up for barely a second with a ton of recovery. Smoke has way better tools and easier at the the higher level of play

@vengeance112 smoke hits faster and is a rush down character that doesn't do much damage unless you do a 20 hit combo. Sub although he is slow, can do a 12 hit co vo and do more damage. Higher level play smoke is easy af to predict. I'm only at God rank and as soon as I match with anyone who knows he can do an overhead and a low, it's a struggle. Pretty much every move he has is punishable, even his armor wakeup is easy to punish because you have to wait for the animation to finish. Again, it's not hard to be good at Sub zero because he has nothing. That doesn't mean he is a good character, just a simple intro character.
