Blaze, Ermac, and Scarlett were all created from, and most of the storylines have been molded by fans. All fighting games have different value to their storylines and depth, but that doesn't necessarily make or break it though. I just have to be able to care about the character that I pick, whether he or she has a sprawling backstory such as those on Street Fighter, or they're just here to cut down the opponent in front of them so they can survive, such as those on Samurai Showdown.
