I have 3 questions (from a noob) : Can this Nightwolf use more often his anti-air B2 in this match? When kitana jumps and amplifies her time in the air. And secondly, why this badass Nightwolf didn't mix with his command grab at the end of the overhead combo ? F2 1 2 1 canceled with grab, if i remember well. And 3, why Nightwolf didn't use DB1 to reflect projectiles more often in this match? Changing strategy for zoning. He had the yellow bird thing !! Thanks

I can’t answer these questions for you but since you said you are a beginner do you have any characters you are practicing with?

Well, the first and the third question are answered thanks to the startup of those movements, so if you want to make them work, you have to make a hard read, because if you try to do them as reaction, they will fail. And the second one about the f2121 tick throw is just all about mindgames, he as an experimented player and knowing his opponent is as well really experimented, there is more risk doing the tick throw, because you eat a d2 kb rather than a 27% punish. As someone who plays Nightwolf, I use for anti airs d4, it works most of the time by reaction rather than by a hard read.

Nightwolf has bad anti airs aswell. B2 really slow and can be easily baited. F2121 tick throw can be a easily read than you think. If he do f212 and she let go of block you get small damage knockdown. If she reads it and counters you die.
