Been a nightwolf main since day one. Im so glad you started messing around with him. Showing me that in the right hands nightwolf can compete with the best of the best. Love this nightwolf content. He dont get the love he deserves man. They need to fix his crushing blows. If he had a counter/punish crushing blow he would be so much better. All of his KBS besides his throw KBS are so hard to get. Especially against high level players. They need to buff him for sure. And kombat league needs to make skins for him or something. Every season I get atleast demi God and not once have I got shit for nightwolf. Nightwolf gets no love..

use the extended strings for him it give you 22 1+3 kb damage over time and its counter or punish and use his armot breaker very good vommand grab ticks of everything with Kb and good damage and leave you +40 on amplifie. i think nightwolf is good

​@@ahmadserhal5939 Agreed nightwolf is solid AF especially online where his autoshimmy and overhead are more of a threat. His command grab also has a KB if you reversal punish if i'm not mistaken. Not only that he gets really solid and consistent damage without KBs

No doubt. Im saying for him to be up there with other top tier characters such as Jackie, geras, etc. Yes he has good damage. His command grab is a high but still very good. But im talking about his shoulder charge amplified KB is dam near impossible to hit on good players. Along with his 312 combo where only the overhead can hit for it to be a crushing blow. Then you got characters like lui kang and the joker that have amazing counter hit crushing blows that are almost guaranteed to get every single match. Nightwolfs crushing blows suck. Everything else about him I love lol trust me ive been a nightwolf main since he came out. I catch people with his overhead string and auto shimmy all the time. But his back 3 is an 11 frame mid with literally no range. His forward 1 is 13 frames but very advancing so thats good. His back 1 is great for wif punishing someone. I know all his staggers and I can compete with the best. But when I get matched up against a solid jackie who gets 3 crushing blows in 1 combo for 60%+ its tough to compete with that. Crushing blows can be game changing and when I play lui kang or subzero or joker I get crushing blows every game. But with nightwolf im beating people fair and square with maybe 1 throw KB. And then geras hits me with a Sandtrap armor breaking crushing blow for 40%+ and its like dam. 40% for nothing lol nightwolf needs better KBS. Make it so if I amplify 3 shoulder charges the next one is a KB similar to subzero slide or lui kangs bicycle kick. Regardless im sticking with nightwolf but im just saying there's a reason not many if any pro players use him in tournament and thats because there are better characters. But man.. give nightwolf some love. Fix his KBS and for the love of God give him some skins in kombat league. The last 7 seasons he hasn't gotten shit since his release. Its always the same characters getting new shit. Scorpion, jade, kung lao ect.. nightwolf is awesome and is an OG Mk player. Hook him up. Also, delete sheeva and replace her with Ermac, smoke, or reptile lol

@@garyalles3257 Nightwolf is getting 31% every time for one bar without any KBs with the loadout Rewind is using. That's nothing to scoff at and is actually more damage than Liu gets for a jab combo midscreen. If you really want a counter hit/punish KB, then you can add his extended strings. Even his command grab has a punish KB. And look at 0:39, arguably the best player in the world SF getting hit by the KB probably because Rewind was conditioning them by staggering 3,1. I'm all for some nightwolf love, more skins and stuff, but he's a solid character, don't need buffs. Rewind seems to do just fine as NW against Jacqui here

I am glad you posted this. I been running Jacqui with ex air blast, cancels and blue balls. Another with rockets, air blast and ground and last with clinch, hype knee and cancels.

Why is Rising Axe better than the Roll launcher? I thought the roll was a bit better since you can armor break after the lunch while Rising Axe can't. Also you get some 50/50s, but you do lose the dash punish... Curious to read your feedback on this!

Im no pro but I think rising axe is better because you can convert from anti airs better, you can convert meterlessly in the corner, and you can burn two bars to get good damage. Like you mentioned, losing rhino shoulder is an unfortunate trade. KingGambler who mains nightwolf at a high level thinks Rising axe is superior.

Love seeing the fox run jaqui without the leap. I currently use prototype rocket, clinch and the faint cancel. I started using the rocket because of him. Do you think the faint cancel is necessary with jaqui? Seems to be the one move i see pro=tournament players switch out the most with jaqui? But I guess with leap it isn't necessary because you already have the mixup and pressure with it.
