Police SHUTDOWN Chelsea Cruise.

August's Chelsea Cruise didn't last too long this month. The parks police came to shut the gates to Battersea Park at Dusk as usual and not long after everyone moved onto the bridge further police showed up and told everyone to move on. I'm not sure what the reason behind this was.
Unfortunately this cut my video short as there was some lovely cars in attendance that I wanted to show you all (Some of you may have seen them on my Instagram live video) but here's what I did capture before everyone was dispersed.

I have been going to the Chelsea cruise on and off for over 40 years, the behaviour was far worse way back.

Mk1Kieran, the police have a purge from time to time, they have to strike a balance. TBH the build quality of the cars has probably improved a lot over the years.

As the creators say “The Chelsea Cruise first started back in the 1970s but slowly faded away when the Hot Hatch boys decided to make it their cruise.” The cars were much more interesting back then and didn’t look like a bunch of shopping carts parading, which is actually what hatch backs were created for. They are glorified shopping carts. There, I said what everyone thinks.
