Big big difference with these mirrors vs the plain mirror: They painted/sealed the die-cast parts inside. You'll have extra years where the mirror won't corrode and snap like a twig! :D I was thinking about getting the LED markers for the set I have. Now that you show them, I want them for certain to replace the original lights.

Another mirror thing to look into: Because you have the power seats, there was a feature on the GLX cars that had them, sorta related to memory mirror settings: Auto-dipping power mirrors, when you go into reverse gear. I haven't figured that one out yet. If I do, I'll pass on the electrical/wiring details.
