MK4 Golf GTI engine speed sensor change

I did this video while changing the turbo but thought it's worth uploading on its own to show how you can get to the sensor.
It's a bit tricky but you can get to it with the oil filter off.

Hi there, i changed it for preventative measure as it was covered with oil for a long time. You can tell it is not working if the car stops turning over and the rpm stops moving.

Do you need to drain the oil before changing the sensor?

@@mattallott6662 hi Matt I already drained my oil got the turbo swap I did. To get access you may need to remove the oil filter which means you may need to drain the oil. Hope that helps!
