The fatalities were great and I loved a lot of the new characters they introduced like Fujin, Reiko, Shinnok, Kai, Tanya and even Jarek although he doesn't get a lot of love as an MK character.

I'm just actually realizing this myself after realizing something just FELT OFF from the MK9-MK11 games. I mean, the games are great GAMES but the atmosphere is just gone. Gameplay is better than ever but sacrificed the atmosphere/sounds. MK4 actually still felt like MK2-MK3 but the 3D graphics just sucked at the time so the characters look sloppy as hell. If MK4 looked like MKX or MK11 and played like those 2 games it'd probably be the BEST in the franchise. Did Dan Forden make the music/sound here??? It sounds like his style. They seriously gotta get him back man. He truly added a LOT to the MK formula. Sound design is a HUGE aspect to video game creation. Just look at what Akira Yamaoka does for Silent Hill. Without him, no Silent Hill.

Mk back in 97 was no match for Tekken 3's visuals and gameplay. But now, I'd say the graphics in MK blow away the Tekken's and the gameplay is about on par.

I think they both are great games at them own way. Tekken is much more focused on realistic fighting styles, mk is more of "fantasy" martial arts combat. Anyway both are great!

you can use epsxe last build to play the psx version or you can try flycast (a dreamcast emulator) to play the MK4 GOLD version wich includes cyrax, baraka, mileena and kung lao

When I use combo on Goro from jump high punch in to low kick he can catch me in to his grab which is the strongest thing in the game. 3x and you are dead. How are you doing it that he can not do it to you?

MitoW3 my combos do not start whit lk, why you want to low kick him after an air hp? If you want, tell me the exact minute when that happens and i tell you what i see there

9:20 you land on him hp and then kick him. When I do this he grabs me. Also I like to use scorpions sword, back+ lp is quite good. From air, sword is even better hp then after landing back + lp.

yeah i see now, anyway that was a neutral high kick, you cant do LK after an air HP cuz that move triggers the grab on goro, i dont play this game for quite a while, i dont remeber exactly how i do that at 9:20, but i can say that was just a quick tap on the hk button after the HP. Only works against goro, his size permits that. anyway im gonna download mk4 again, i will make a sub-zero video now, if i remember some moves on the training proces ill reply you here to let you know :D regards
