I got the EQT Stage 1 tune for my mk7.5 GTI DSG the other day and OMG does it make a difference that I truly didn't believe it would. I am hitting basically 30 boost and thats not even at WOT because I like to not risk breaking or blowing something on the car especially if it is hitting 30 psi according to my AP. But yeah, the acceleration is quite ridiculous with just a stage 1 EQT tune and a MBRP catback exhaust.

Thanks for this video, I’ve been wanting to do a stage 1 EQT tune for my Mk7 but it’s so hard to find videos on stage 1. Seeing this video makes the difference of even a stage 1 tune very apparent. I’m in Cali so stage 2 for me is out of the question

I tuned mine with stratified tune stage 1..yes it’s different beast with ecu stage 1.. Do you have a burble or pop exhaust even with stock down pipe?

Cool vid. I have the APR Stage 1 and TCU tune. The TCU tune makes normal drive mode much better and makes Sports mode into beast mode 😎 Have you guys tuned your DSG yet?
