@BlueWarHead I agree with what you said. That version didn’t get as much love as gta4s at least to my knowledge. Edit: idk how I thought this response even made sense lmaooo so here’s take 2: even if people it’s no fun when you can’t rag doll. In a way the rag doll sometimes made bodies drop in a funny way, sometimes it was realistic too. I loved that every time you or an Npc falls that it’s always different. Gta5 and rdr2 being “euphoria” is a joke and the physics are trash. Realistic or not. Video games are getting too realistic at the cost of fun

@BlueWarHead GTA V has a watered down version of Euphoria mostly because of performance issues on the 7th gen consoles, with the bigger map and more fidelity needing more resources a lot of the stuff from GTA IV was scrapped. At least, thats what many people claim which isn't too accurate since someone ported RAGEuphoria, a mod that uses more of the Euphoria features, to GTA V on PS3 and it ran fine with no framerate issues so they probably assessed the 7th Gen console performance in a sloppy way.

My favorite euphoria physics in Rockstar games: 5: GTA V - it's probably the most realistic, but it isn't fun to mess around with the physics 4: Max Payne 3 - the euphoria physics in this are AMAZING, but compared to the other games, it just isn't as fun 3: GTA IV - I find these the most satisfying, but they're WAY over exaggerated 2: Red Dead Redemption - basically gta IV ragdolls, but toned down a bit, making them just as satisfying, but not making them seem too overexaggerated 1: Red Dead Redemption 2 - it finds the perfect balance between realism and fun Also, if you see anyone named Sinny in the comments asking if you want to be friends, don't reply. It's a bot that'll hack into your stuff if you reply.

There's a setting on PC called "Definition" that can be toggled on and off with the P key, when the Definition setting is on it disables the blur filter, all the motion blur and DOF effects which results in a sharp and more detailed look. The console version has this setting turned off and no option to change it so it results in a horribly grainy and blurry look.

@@dfsstuff6572 I'm almost certain no games used TAA in 2007, back then it was the better quality (no motion blur side effect) but more performance heavy MSAA and SSAA techniques, or the much lower quality (but still no motion blur side effect) FXAA post filter method.
