New Order - Mr Disco - MK Remake - Extended Remix

A remix of my original remix with a different arrangement , vocals added and some new bits thrown in to extend it a bit more. This really should have been a single instead of maybe Run, as we could of had some great mixes. Will have to make do with this one 😀

Bloody love it Mark, this track brings back so many good memories as I was an English Bricklayer working in Germany in the early 90's and I use to play this album all the time and I remember one time I was listening to this track very loud while working on my own setting out the internal walls of a house we were building and I was singing my heart out to this track and unknown to me the German architect had pulled up and entered the building and was watching me sing out loud! And when this track finished he said hello and we got talking and he loved New Order and Joy Division which at the time I thought was strange as he was about the same age I am now in his late 50's. Quite funny as when we stopped chatting I could hear him up on the other floors of the house singing to the other tracks! Good times.

I've been hovering around your stuff for a very long time but after hearing this it's time to suggest you get real overdubs from the real Peter Hook then get out there and make MILLIONS, you deserve it , even after the other 3 get their cut (money for nothing for them). Well done, your mixing and tech genius are unsurpassed. I'm sure Hooky would oblige. Good luck , I look forward to returning to the 80s and buying quality New Order mixes again !
