Igor i went from a 6s to a xr and believe me, at first i was super pissed that im not getting 3d touch but then i found out that you can enable text cursor by long pressing spacebar and 80% of my problems were solved and then ios 13 dropped and now simulates almost every single function of 3d touch, so thats 95% of all features covered and for only a FRACTION of the cost what is left there to miss ?

@@sp3ckedout224 yessir. Haptic Touch is decent. But 3D touch was quicker and the feedback on applying more pressure was nice for me. Gave some personality to the screen. It was quite handy in control center, picture preview and some other apps. While it’s feature has been repurposed, 3D Touch was still nice. I guess the cost to benefit ratio didn’t make sense so they thought better to remove it.

My iPhone 6s plus still works perfectly, and does everything it needs to do for me and does that quickly enough. When the iPhone 13 comes out, I will probably buy it because most likely the updates for the 6s plus will then stop. Then I had a very good smartphone for 6 years. Apple, you might pay a little more, but if you keep a device for 6 years, you have full software support for all those years, which you cannot say about android. If you sell an apple product such as an iPhone or a mac after, for example, 2-3-4 years, you still get a very good price second-hand, something you cannot say at all about an android phone or windows pc.

I had a 5s too, it is worth the upgrade and the wait. I'd suggest going for the plus. I bought a gold 60something gb 6s and while it is bigger i should have gotten the plus. Smh. I have small hands, for a guy, so i can't really one hand text anymore. In hindsight, the plus was the way to go if it meant no more one hand texting, which I'm stuck with now. lol.

Just got this phone yesterday after being with my 4s for 3+ years. It was sad to see her go, we basically went through my entire college career together. But man, does it feel good to finally have a phone that works smoothly again. Btw, I wasn't sure if I was the only one that noticed how fast the Touch ID was. Sometimes I just press the home button to check the time and I'm already signed into the phone lol.
