For example: If the Prima Macula was around for centuries, why is it only NOW that this incident with the rats occur? Where did the Prima Macula come from, what exactly is it and how does it work? Also, if it's something that's in the blood, why wasn't the kid cured when they gave him that elixir that his sister nearly died for? What exactly was the "Great Break"? Are the rats supernatural or are they just regular rats under the influence of the Prima Macula? And so on.

I'm grateful that this person posted the entire game, but at times his gameplay is absolutely maddening. Throughout the progression of the game, it gives you whole sections where it teaches you how to defeat certain types of mobs. You don't have to use the same 2 moves. you can switch it up using the materials you already have. This isn't the most difficult game but at times this person sure makes it seem like it.

The Pied Piper. Same character colors as the book but older version was the antagonist. Such a twist of tale from the one I've read and I guess it's a good one. Amecia is a character that walks us through the story. The ending was the same as the book. The Piper left and never to be seen again.

He really was. He was the most relatable to most of us I think. Which is why he made such a good character. He's not some special dude or master alchemical apprentice. He's JUST the son of a blacksmith with a heart of gold and a temper as short as dynamite. He lived and died in a very heroic nature even if he was just a everyday layman.

Overall: I thought the game was okay. The visuals are stunning, the voice acting is great and the main characters are compelling enough to make me care about what happens to them. HOWEVER, I felt that the story, while interesting, was pretty vague and left more questions than answers but I'm not griping about it too much since I'm sure that there will be other installments of the Plague Tale. The character's faces during cutscenes don't really exhibit a lot of emotion during scenes where they should be the most expressive. Even when they sound emotionally distraught, they still maintain the same passive facial expression, which did take me out of the story few times. I also felt that Arthur was superfluous as a character and cutting him out of the game wouldn't really change the overall story as much. I wish that they would have given the players more time with him or just made him more relevant to the story, or allowed us to see how well he and Melie worked together before throwing him away after he served his short-lived narrative purpose. Other than that, the game was pretty good. 6/10

Well, this is the first time I’ve ever liked every character in a game. Even the bad guys. Each side character played a significant role or task in the story (they weren’t always just a “tag-along” character) and Hugo wasn’t an unbearable child. I know some creators have a difficult time creating a child character that appeals to players, but I think they did well with Hugo. He doesn’t do a lot of significant whining or running away from you, and seems to relatively keep out of trouble (with the exception of running away from the castle.) he does a lot to help throughout your journey.

while everyone is crying about Rodric (I cried too) I'm just gonna say that Lucas is the sweetest kid in the world. Scared out of his skin and still stuck with Amicia. Gosh I love that kid, I hope he gets bear hugs every day for the rest of his life. I hope there's a "10 years later" game in the future. Sure, serious Last of Us vibes, but that's never a bad thing; I just hope in the future they stop killing off characters for the sake of tragic story telling. What's so bad with everyone living? They've been through hell, they earned a happy ending.

Hecc this story is so much better than stories shown in films. And honestly, I'd be very happy to see the future of those 3 kids. I know there might be no sense in making 2nd part of the game after the plague has ended, but I don't care, I just want the story to go on. I wouldn't like to see Hugo going bad, but yeah, with all the people avoiding him plus the power bringing pure darkness to his soul, the chances of Hugo facing madness in the future seem pretty high.
