I can see some logic in that. Shang Tsung clearly stated that he crafted his entire time-line to follow his will, meanwhile Havik's time-line had more "freedom". If they weren't on camera, it's probable that they all really vanished due to them being extensions of the og Titan Havik and not organic beings but artificial ones. 3. That point I will give to you, but I guess nobody guarded Geras because everyone was very inmersed on the Khaos maze games to care abt anything else. If so, that is indeed a lame excuse. 4. Another good point. We see everyone retrieve Geras and the Kamidogus from Havik's timeline to also restore Bi Han's mind. How did Havik acquire the Kamidogus again is beyond me too. 5. That was done in bad taste as well. Didn't like that scene. 6. Smoke was mostly probably in charge of the Shirai Ryu while Scorpion was away. I believe both he and Harumi were left behind so Scorpion could go.

So basically: - No one helped Geras during the fight, till he was mid way into the portal - They sent 3 people because they're meant for "infiltration", then they literally started a fight the minute they arrived in the middle of a marketplace. - Havik is a Titan but couldn't teleport directly into his own Citadel. - Scorpion lost all his fights here. - Somehow Noob has powers that are nothing like what Havik has or has given everyone else. - They decided to heal Noob and keep the Kamidogu far from the Temple of the Elements instead of next to it. - Raiden decided not to take the Kamidogu himself into the Temple even when knowing another Titan was coming for it. - The temple of the elements is easily infiltrated. - Sektor immediately frees Noob instead of wondering why would he be kept there. - Johnatan was just there.

Now they can streamline everything, get rid of everything that didn't work out before, try new things that wouldn't have worked back in 1992..." But their decision for the first game of the new timeline had to be multiverse bs that not only complicates everything but also makes the whole reset feel almost irrelevant. "Here, take this shiny New Era that is totally better and more interesting than everything that came before... but also, it's only one of infinite timelines. We did it like this, but we could've done like that, or that, or that..." It doesn't feel special anymore.

I’m sorry but the writing is mad terrible… In the span of 1 hour you practically have Havik, The Cleric of Chaos, shows up randomly out of nowhere, invites you to his reality show Liu Kang’s mercy is also annoying as Raiden’s consult with the elder gods bullcrap, like fine, don’t kill…but you literally know of their threats when given dark magics and you lock them in places where even bi-Han and sektor can just bust them out. Mileena and Kitana would not trust Liu Kang at all after this, dude keep asking for them to be spared…we literally have Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Shao, Ermac, Noob, Sektor and I bet soon too Titan Havik, just out there nuking the world because Liu Kang couldn’t just banish them somewhere mortals couldn’t reach. They also wrote Bi-Han like a fucking kid! Sure he’s power hungry but we know he can wait and plot, he’s not that dumb. Here we just have the dude push his brother out of so he can 1v2 and then attempts to solo a god.

Agreed, this story was incredibly rushed. The timeline stuff in the initial release was already incredibly convoluted, corny, and jumped the shark. I thought the whole variants of different timelines was really dumb to begin with. But Titan Havik at the end of part I made me hyped and thought maybe they'd do something even way cooler than the initial story. I was wrong, it was just barely an hour of a Havik gladiator battle Royale and rescuing Geras. I thought he was going to bend all reality and like do this massive multiverse war or something. The scope of it all was so small. The only thing they improved on was making the variants of the characters less of a joke (Stung Lao/ Chill Chi etc), I thought Empress Tanya and Emperor Rain were better versions of the original. But other than that it was really lacking and kind boring.

There was a Chinese ninja clan called Lin Kuei in real life. There was a book written in 80s, years before Mortal Kombat.. Search Google as "Lin Kuei book".. So they are ninjas, but China based..

I do agree how they handled the multiverse is not well, It would be possible for the other MK11 roster (outside Shang Tsung or Liu Kang) to have their own timelines (a stretch btw) cause they are there in the hour glass fight but anything out side that does not make sense for me lore wise. Havik was not there in the final fight and during Kronika era there is only one timeline being repeated over and over again. The enemy titans should have been other than Shang Tsung is Shao Khan, Melena, Cetrion, maybe even Frost. I wish they would publish another Havik comic to show how he became a Titan

I honestly thought the exact opposite, it feels so forced and exists just to give Empress Tanya some motivation for revenge. The scene was shot actually pretty well, but you know Emperor Rain for less than half an hour, know nothing of his kingdom outside of the fact Havik took it, and his death just feels so random, like they didn't know what to do with him and just killed him off.
