With all the equipement those people have acces and the workload being digital, rather than physical wouldn't delay prodiuction that much No it is plan simple lazyness and incompetence on the part of those studiios. I know the entire pipeline, I studied in that domain for years and all that self pity is sickening. I had teachers who wouldn't even BOTHER showing up to online/presntial studies half the time because (?) and some that taught us the basic we learnt in secondary school in 3 liverstream lasting between 15 to 45 minutes before calling it a year! Often linking us to youtubers instead of doing their work which is for THEM to teach US. Then you have the school blaming covid 19 for their poor education skill despite this entire ordeal decreasing their workload as they aren't required to come to school or supply us equipement since some of the prerequesit required us to have a decent comupter, drawing tablet, etc

The Modern Warfare Reboot was in the right direction where the franchise needed go at it’s roots having a controversial storyline with the portrayal of every characters more grounded in real conflicts that makes it feel like a basic military experience and not some typical fantasy drama about heroes rivaling villains that every Call of Duty after this overuses. The combined elements of every characters doing morally questionable actions and the antagonist doing evil things for a purpose without being overly comedic to their goals are what makes the storyline have a mature and gritty tone that the franchise always should be presented but now since Cold War came out we are going backwards again. I guess Activision doesn’t want to continue that kind trend of more mature stories probably because the feedback wasn’t well received so they went back to making the franchise into a fantasy sci-fi movie again, so it wouldn’t seem boring to the younger audience.
