Is this MU like 60:40 Kirby?? The pancaking is potent against all of Byleth's options.

Uh, idk. I wouldn't say it's straight up a 60:40 but it has the potential to be an even matchup for Kirby imo. Kirby can crouch under landing fair, landing bair, standing grab, neutral-b and I think you can duck under the initial hits of nair OOS iirc but not the entire move if they fastfall it which means that you may be able to shield in-between OOS nair on reaction if it whiffs on crouch and punish accordingly. It's an awkward matchup and there's a bit of counterplay to pancaking from Byleth's side so it's not completely free but because I've not played a good Byleth with Kirby I'll say even for now because the matchup surprisingly doesn't feel that bad for Kirby because of Byleth's bad hitboxes against crouch and Byleth is also free 60% combo food for Kirby and you can also platform combo Byleth on BF/SBF with up air too so that's a bonus.

Its mostly just weirdly annoying, which is honestly usually how kirby matchups feel as the opposition. Besides the ones that are painfully obviously slanted to one side.
