AfterBurnerEX1 While I agree he doesn't need to be "normalized", your comment on him sucking outside of grandmaster irks me. His cryomancer variation offers good tools to work off of his d3 into a 50/50, which leads into upwards of 55% damage, and his unbreakable variation allows for you to regulate the damage your opponent is causing whilst also using his ice armor animation to link more two combo strings together do to its neutral nature off of a string itself. He's such a well balanced character, and aside from the sad group of people who play cheaply online with him he really is a good character that requires you to think about your moves and the moves of your opponent. All of his variations are useful, and I feel none of them are overpowered if people know how to deal with them correctly. Obviously if a Sub player picks cryomancer you won't wanna pick a slow start up character like Takeda and Quan Chi, and if they pick grandmaster you wouldn't wanna pick rush down characters with little range. Don't let yourself get counter picked and you're fine.

AfterBurnerEX1 The armor cancel is amazing, you can link b33 into his overhead and it hits almost every time, or you can mix it up by doing another b33. Also, in cryomancer (and his other variations, it just works best here) his d3 has enough hit stun to where the opponent has to block the following hit. This means you can get a guaranteed 50/50 mixup off of his b33 and b2 overhead, this leads into 50% damage total. All of his variations are good in this game, and I feel because of Tom Brady the other two variations aren't getting the love they should be getting.

AfterBurnerEX1 The other variations are very good. DJT was showing off unbreakable recently and even Denzell said he believes it's possibly the best variation, it's just that grandmaster seems better on the surface. The usefulness of the ice aura is completely unlimited. Taking no chip damage is just stupid good, and the parry is ridiculously good if you can use it right considering it's so damn fast (5 frame start up). Pretty much every character in the game has a string that can be parried half way through, it completely beats 90% of wake up options (some can even be parried on reaction lol), and as if all of this wasn't amazing enough it actually acts as one of the only viable no meter wake up options in the game. DJT was just destroying people in the corner with it. It's arguably better than grandmaster or at the very least on par with it, however it requires a little more match up knowledge. I definitely expect to see unbreakable Sub Zero's pop up at tournaments now that people are starting to figure out how nasty it can be. Cryomancer is good because it has great all around damage and still retains most of SZ's tools, however I believe it to be the weakest of the three because it doesn't really have any "dirt" (not yet anyway). It's still good though and lots of fun. Regarding being "normalised", I think any decent player knows that SZ is perfectly fine and doesn't need any changes, he's just really good (for once :]).

Why do people complain about sub zero's ice clone in this game? In MK9 he was able to have ice clones in the fucking air, do them after almost every move yet nobody complained. Just shows how many scrubs are now playing Mortal Kombat. Tom Brady is the shit and so is Sub Zero.

Bryan Long Getting out of ice clone pressure is actually a 50/50 in itself believe it or not. Every single one of Sub-Zero's combos into Ice Clone is unsafe. But Forward 4 into ice clone is. If Tom Brady keeps on doing unsafe strings into Ice Clone then they will start to think they can armor through. That way he can bait the wake up by canceling into clone with forward 4. Sub-Zero was built for the corner.
