I prefer to just zone with Sektor, though he does have some sweet combos and I didn't realize the F212, bb actually stuns you which is nasty til the second day. I miss MK 9 Sektor as far as execution of combos, so much easier lol. MK X Triborg/Sektor takes a lot more precision I've noticed but his zoning is better and faster missiles for sets ups, combos etc.

+Nancy Mendoza well yea it's great in that sense but it's not as good as say sub zero slide or something. Mainly because you have to be standing to actually use meter burn flame. Its hard to explain but if you get knocked down and the opponent is running at you then you gotta make sure you will get off the ground before he gets too close BEFORE using ex flame. If not then the move simply won't come out and you'll get hit because you're caught pressing buttons

Ketchup thanks for the video. But I have to ask how on earth are your inputs so clean. I try the back dash after f212 and its so hard to get right. Also how do you do instant air teleports so.. Instantly. There has to be a way to get better at this

So I watched this video about half a dozen times before opening up MKXL. I find it kind of frustrating how you supreme MK players talk about these "forward 2,1,2" 6+ hit combo strings like all you need to know is the button combination to execute them..but within ten minutes of practice with Sektor using your advice, I felt fatally over whelmed with playing this game and decided to return it. Someone really needs to do a tutorial on the speed and rhythm of button pressing. Or maybe i just totally fucking suck at a game I grew up with and love so much. It really brings a tear to my eyes.

+Shane Walsh haha, mkx is a complicated game, that is true! K&M have 5 tutorials on how the game works(released in april last year), look through them, they really help and dont give up on the game, there is a lot to learn but once you get the jist of it, you will have bloody good fun ;)

+TheDeff001 yeah I got a bit hot headed and felt over whelmed. I saw a really good video about inputing the buttons. Hard for me to explain but you have to dial the buttons in immediately without waiting for the character's response on each hit like the street fighter games. But of course you know this. Re tried the game and managed to pull off some good combos with sector based on what I learned in your video. On a quick side note if this is indeed Ketchup responding to me I want to take the time to sincerely thank you sir. I've watched well over 100 hours of MK9(/MKX tournaments.and I've seen you play and have heard you commentate heaps and I think you're great! Sincerely appreciate you taking the time to write back! When the blister on my thumb heals I'm going to give it another go! Thanks again!

Hello, Ketchup. Nice guide as always. I would like to notice that bf3(ex) in the air and bf3(ex) after teleport are two different special moves. When you cancel teleport (or ex teleport) into bf3(ex) you are -15 on block and there is a gap between these special moves so your teleport can always be punished. However if you do bf3(ex) not after teleport (For example f43 bf3(ex) it is safe.
