Hi I had similar issues with my 2007 ML280 and was able to clean the corrosion from the water damage with some PCB spray and a brush. I got full functionality to the windscreen wipers, indicators, rear door release and keyless entry but was unable to restore the fuel gauge and seat controls. Do you have any suggestions how I can repair further? Thanks

Did you check damage under the plugs? usually water gets there and shorts capacitors ans some more stuff

Mine is a Mercedes ML 350 2006, same SAM module got wet a rust, I pull it off and washit with alcohol, test the relays and they also worked fine, My question is that anyone know what the relays do? I use a conductivity enhancer sold by the Conduct-O-Lube group. You need to address all points of corrosion & possibly bad connection. In nearly all cases you can completely restore your MB to full serviceability.

Great Video, Very skilled work on the PCB Very Very Good. Do you have a diagram of what the individual components control...For example where on the board controls the boot lock, or Turn indicators?

@@PORepair Thank you very much for the prompt reply...I had a problem with my ML280 indicators and Boot latch I watched your video as I had opened my sam and had cleaned a few small spots of water ingress but no great indicators of any other problems...I dried and reassembled and refitted the unit and I was happy that the bot and indicators were working again but after I had tidied up the boot I tried again and lo and behold the same problem happened again. so back to the drawing board I do have your details now I am in France at the moment and was hopping to return in early January so I may be back in touch. Perseverance commands success Happy xmas (if Possible)

Hi i get a problem with my sam rear. When i pull on my car dosnt start and then when i pull of it start and Can go any where you want without principal door lock,signal direction and breack Please help me to solve this pb

my car wont crank only thing that has water damaged was from left side of trunk not sure what it is. maybe for radio.. no signs of corrosion on all other ecu modules . any help?
