Where is she is off sruti Mr Rajagopala iyer.she can never do that. She is most versatile and imaginative artist that no one can match her.Her personal life is nothing to with her singing.you should see her only as a Top artist.with all the difficulties she encountered in life she still maintained giving class concerts to rasikas.No comparison between her and M.S.amma.Both are different

If you listen carefullyhow swaras are going astray away from Sruti! If she had takencare of private life like MS, shewould havegone to transcedentl heights than MS, because God bestowed more skill and talent! A lesson for the future generation!

I actually felt that this was a concert where she reminded us of the fifties and sixties when she was a force of nature. The creativity in the kalyani alapanai and swaras are astonishing. That said, good people that we all are, we wish all aspects of life would go well for each of us. That it is not to be so most of the time is a message in itself.

This comment is extremely misplaced. Even though I can't hear it, you say that you heard some shruti mistakes in swara portions so I will believe you. But then you go on to speak about her personal life. What connection is there between the two? M.L.V. was one of the most versatile and scholarly musicians to grace the Carnatic stage. The last section of her career suffered because of health issues but other than that she was the most genius musician of her time. Even the comparison with M.S.S. feels unfair, they both were legendary artists in their own right. How can you compare personal lives of two different individuals?
