The ult tip is really helpful. I only recently started playing baptiste more often (previously played mainly ana and kiriko) and I’m struggling with ult usage. Too often I find myself holding onto matrix for way too long because I don‘t feel like there are enough teammates around to benefit from it so I end up sitting on it for a minute or two whereas I probably could‘ve farmed a second one in that time had I actually ulted earlier

Nah, never do this. Bap ult is a selfish ult, and it’s so good you can even use it to turn lost fights if your positioning and aim are good

@@EJDoesEverythingBetter depends if you are in solo Q or Duo Q and know each other cause if so then you can poket your craked friend and allow him to bully the server. It Depends on if you can find the Carry as soon as posible

@@aaronblasco5190 That is silver strats, just to be honest with you. Bap is mini soldier 76, so if you know how to position and aim, waiting on ultimate to turn a fight is a literal throw. Use that shit immediately on yourself and hit your shots and it’s just a dub.

Im not that good on him compared to lucio/mercy/brig but Ive been playing him recently to try to get better. He's really good since you can do it all. High heals/dps, mobility, utility

For the Window tip. It's important to make sure that you comm to your team on how you'll use it especially in the lower ranks. I've seen tanks go in and turn back when they hear "Light them up!" Coz they want a tad extra damage instead of taking the space to win the fight. Of course, you'll need to learn when the right situation is for this but that just comes with practice

I know you couldn't fit it into a YT short, but imo the biggest mistake Bap players make is healbotting. Like you do a lot of damage, and you can do both at the same time, there's no reason to have 24k healing and 900 damage

yes and that makes bap a very stressing and high skill ceiling hero, I started picking him up a few weeks ago and I don´t hit my heals consistantly, especially when damaging, any tips?

I‘d recommend to learn one of the combos (shoot shoot heal or shoot heal shoot heal) and stick to that for some time. Keep shooting even when no enemies are around just to get the practice and to feel more comfortable doing both damage and heal at the same time. Once your more familiar with the combo you can start mixing it up, depending on the situation and experience you‘ll know when you have to spam heals more or can dps for some time without healing at all. Until you build some routine for baptiste‘s firing method he feels very stressful indeed but that goes away with practice

Slight disagree with point 3. Burst damage is a huge problem in overwatch for anything under 50% health, if you actively wait for your teammates to get that low you risk losing fights far more often. Bap AOE heal should be used more or less on cooldown, especially at the start of a fight since it immediately gives your team a health pool advantage. This is the way rank 1 supports use it.

When I got rein in my team, I like to poay with is firestrike. I count the cooldown and I'm getting ready to use it fast. And now with the 100 dmg back, it can one shot 200ho caracter

I was just about to say that I have NEVER heard that he heals more when someone is low with the regen burst. I literally have the golden gun for him and never knew this. It has to be semi-recently added.

@@jespj7888 i’ve heard it on streams where people were trying to get the Bap achievement. it was a while ago but i remember them saying it doesn’t boost healing anymore but they still let it count for the achievement. good to know that’s not accurate and it still works for heals.

Yes. She’s oppressive and has been for years. Anti-grenades are WAY too valuable to stay as they were. Sleep dart is also the best CC in the game. It’s fair that both got nerfed. And she’s STILL S tier even after the nerfs.
