for those that arent well versed in these types of fps cheats, when he is spinbotting and looking at the ground, he is actually in third person view. The spinning is called Anti-Aim, and is a cheat that makes it so your player view model avoids player angles, it achieves this by constantly spinning so fast that if you were to shoot where his head or any limb it would miss. Of course the rest of his cheats is just aimbot, some chatter early in the vid said that spinbot makes it so you hit all headshots even if you cant see the enemy, this is false. Spinbot is just anti aim and 3rd person view combined. Most cheaters use silent aim that makes it so the bullets will hit without moving your actual crosshair. This is not silent aim, this is hard aimbot, his mouse flicks to all the shots so that means he does at least need to see the enemy to hit them, different to what that chatter said. Also the audio distortion happens when he spins really quick because youre watching in first person, so it ruins the surround sound and you get all those sound bugs that youre hearing when spectating him, he does not hear these because his surround sound stays normal when in 3rd person. But I know ML7 seemed confused about a lot of stuff happening here, maybe this explains it to everyone else with the same questions

That's not a thing for a while. IPs are not static (i.e. they can change on every connection) and aren't guaranteed to be assigned to a single person (i.e. multiple people can "share" the same public IP). Banning an IP could result in unexpected situations. What you probably mean is "hardware banning", but still very complex as it's not guaranteed either, given that a motivated cheater could easily bypass it... Still I think Blizzard has come a long way with identifying and banning cheaters. It could be just me but I've noticed far less hardcore cheaters in streamings since OW2. On OW1 it used to be a plague, to the point that it wasn't rare to see streamers rolling around the map bc they agreed to draw due to a cheater.

Most toxic and the worst players I've ever encountered in ow are arabs (From KSA) Don't get me wrong but 99% of them are like this (I have an arab friend which we play together and he agrees with this) About 9 months ago blizzard added a Bahrain server and MAN IT WAS AWFUL. Every game was disaster. Bad players, cheaters, toxic behavior, racism and so on.... So glad they closed the Bahrain server for good.

For the sake of Knowledge Spinbotting basically is just for the show of "haha look I'm cheating", functionally it's the same as an aimbot, but because of the spinning it can be way stronger because it doesn't have to care about "looking realistic". On the cheater's end, they're not spinning at all, so they can move just fine. You can see how after the cheater swaps to Cass the aim is no longer soft and kinda invisible like with Ashe, but rather just hard-locking onto heads with no care Also, the cheater sucks, but I find the enemy team far more pathetic for not owning up to the draw and just taking a free win

Like what is the point of spin bot over normal aimbot? Does it do something to the characters hitbox to spin like that or something. Like I don't get cheating at all but this seems to make things even harder than necessary if you are going to cheat.

ok so this is pretty interesting, there are types of aimbot. The normal aimbot or in other words "aimlock" is just a program that looks thru the data sent to your PC and puts your crosshair at the exact xyz coordinates of the enemy and/or friendly players when you press a certain button or automatically as soon as they are within your line of sight. That is it. Spinbots on the hand are essentially fully automated where you don't have to anything except use WASD to move around, it locks on, shoots and works as an anti aim fully automatically. ( anti aim is when it fu*ks with your hitbox by spinning and crouching so the other cheaters are less likely to kill you) so spinbot is the full package, but it is obviously very easy to detect. edit: Also your actual screen doesn't look spinny to you, those spins are just commands sent to the server but not executed locally on your PC, so that you can still see and control the character.
