I would use the GI on only a legend or a red Sox signature if you have one.

Hello, the collection players need to be obtained from packs in order to play with them. You can't take them out of the collection to play. That is a strange glitch. I'm not sure what happens or why that happens.

Yes you can only do ten times a day. Some people get really lucky with their rolls. It's happens to me before.

How do you upgrade your player reserve? I just started paying again and am struggling to figure out how to do it

If you go to the store and then to "items" there should be the option to expand the player reserve for 400 or 500 stars.
