We want a consistent strike zone as fans. A simple review system would end most of this nonsense.

Anyone who doubts the potential power of unions in America remember this: most of these "umps" still have a job because of their union.

So do a lot of useless corporate executives only placed there via nepotism from their rich and powerful relatives. These cumstains (like Fail sons Eric, Don Jr, Lachlan Murdoch, and Tony Khan) are more useless than Angel Hernandez as they never have had a creative thought to offer without having it bought for them, nor have they ever operated in a real world without rich daddy to bail them out of being failures at life. Waaah unions. No. How about Get rid of that incompetent nepotism hire in management that’s embezzling company funds for his cocaine addiction and costing the company long term profits for his short term gain, because he wants to cut costs and put out a subpar product for instant gratification of ego.. There’s your problem America. Rich, incompetent, trust fund trouser stains being given big companies and big boy responsibilities by rich daddy even though they have no experience. But waaaaah unions.

Difference between that and clearly being such a bad call it's obvious.
@The8BitNerd7 ай бұрын
The broadcast doesn’t really do these bad calls justice. A ball that looks like it’s only a baseball off the plate looks like two when you are in the box. And this is coming from someone who will almost always attack the first pitch if it’s close.

My dad used to umpire, but Little League and High School. He never threw anyone out of the game, but he did get a few dirty looks after a "called strike three."

Everybody playing Little League is taught to swing at anything close if the count is full. This is something they should know at the major league level Some of these were bad pitches but on some others, these guys should have been swinging. The second Harper and Belt. The pitch to belt looked right down the middle

I wonder if these umpires go off where the catchers mitt is after the pitch, I see a lot of catchers pulling they’re mitts and the ball back into the strike zone. Watch the catchers.
@XxxTheFireEmblemxxX7 ай бұрын
I'm an ump. Framing is overrated. By the time it gets to the mitt, you've lost track of the pitch behind the catcher's body. You look until it gets to the front of the plate.

It's downright comical how announcers think you can say anything you want to an umpire as long as you're walking away. Frankly, if you have something to say, be a man and say it to the umpire's face.

cut the shit out. umpires have gotten ridiculous the past few years with their outlandish calls and how they act. they eject players and walk away from them. they use all that power when they feel like it and act like cowards because they’ll never be held accountable
