When I was in 6th grade I was on my schools baseball team and there was a kid on the other team that was throwing HIGH 90’s... his first pitch hit me right on my spine and I had to be rushed to the hospital. The doctors told me I’m lucky I wasn’t paralyzed, I stuck to soccer and track after that, although I still play baseball for fun some times.

James Schmidt I guess you consider 95% of players just not be “good” if that is your threshold. Stealing 2B doesn’t happen that often compared to the number of times a base runner is on first (3.7% of the time successfully). Even the players that are fast enough to do so don’t attempt it unless there is a combination of a pitcher with a slow delivery and catcher with a slow delivery to 2B. And even then when you have a fast player attempting the steal; the success rate is roughly 55%. Although it is not surprising to have somebody online making such a simplistic dismissive comment that has nothing to do with the original post; and turns out you don’t have any clue what you are talking about to begin with.
