@@allenderobles8539 And *some how* I missed what Robles did against the Yankees. I HATE the Yankees - always have. And seeing Robles actually *nuke* that pitch like an in-his-youth Tiger Woods drive at Pebble Beach in 2000 into the frigging *upper deck* at Nationals Park. I've been to National Park - the top deck is NOT a short porch - and Robles makes it look like a yawner. Then I remembered where I've seen that stroke before - the infamous Soto "caught his train" shot in Game 1 of the World Series. S-i-q-u-e! One's a righty - and one's a lefty - which makes the similarity of that stroke even scarier.

i feel like a lot of people don't understand you are either really good at telling whether a pitch is a strike or not. You know it probably right after little league is over. You've played enough baseball and whatnot to know the usual strike zone and if you don't have it by then it will be really hard for you to get it down, although I might add, it's even easier for players who've always been very disciplined when you get to pro ball because the zone shrinks even more from high school to college to the pros.

I just feel like mlb doesn’t prepare these guys for the media that’s why we’ve stayed behind on everything they just send the guys up and the superstars barely have any experience when talking and interacting with the media. All these superstars form other countries and there’s not a preparation to make them marketable is sad that we are watching the game we love die but it’s that old school mentality that’s ruining us as well as the commissioner cause everything starts at the top.

@devn2664 жыл бұрын
I wish coaches would explain hitting how it is actually done. It is not "on top of the ball." On top of the ball is a groundball. You don't get paid to hit groundballs. You swing THROUGH the ball. Right in the middle. Line drives, not ground balls. Soto knows this it is just how it is described and it teaches bad habits to kids. And causes them to swing down on the ball which creates backspin and the ball balloons and its a fly ball out instead of a homerun, or it is a ground ball to the 2nd baseman.
