That 05 Astros team deserved to win a championship. Roger Clemens - 1.87 ERA Andy Pettitte - 2.39 ERA Roy Oswalt - 2.94 ERA Finished 3, 4, and 5 in Cy Young voting. They had the Killer B’s in the lineup And a bullpen that consisted of longtime relievers such as Brad Lidge, Chad Qualls, Dan Wheeler, Russ Springer, and John Franco

@Melbester9 Жыл бұрын
Yup. This series should have went seven games easily. All 4 games were close despite Whiet Sox sweep. Astros Blew Game 2 shoudl have went 1-1 back to Houston and then Astros losing in Extra Innings in Game 3. Even if White Sox were better team, Astros were good but not to the point of getting swept. Just a lot of timely hitting by White Sox in this postseason and their starters all pitched well in playoffs. Plus their bullpen was good with Jenks as their hard throwing closer and Cotts, other relievers they had. White Sox were such a balanced team they were tough.
