That was one of the most bitter moments of the whole series for an Astros fan like me. I was so pissed off that Dye was awarded first base after the ball clearly hit his bat, but we laid up a juicy fastball for Kenerko to launch over the left field wall so it was overall shit for us lol. I was in fifth grade during this series and it was such a crushing blow to not win one game! Great series, though.

The 2005 White Sox have got to be one of the most under-rated teams in MLB history. All they did was go 12-1 in the post season and in the process, rattle-off four straight complete games against the Angels in the ALCS. Something we may never see again.

@Otávio Ferreira And now the White Sox are a Mediocre Club. Good. Gullien was a Sleazeball. The 2005 White Sox were able to buy the 2005 WS. The Empires made HORRIBLE calls too. Crowns back then were often "BRIBED" Brought by Bud Selig. He'd Already rig and set the World Series by Post Season. Once a Team was profitable with wins, the WS was already decided by the End of the Regular Season. Usually 6 weeks before the Series. Selig Already Selected the White Sox. Basically, World Series until that Jackass Retired, were Brought, Bribed, Paid FOR and Illegitimately won. The White Sox are paying their dues for this Bribery. By sucking ass as a Mediocre Club that FAILS yearly in the AL Central. And I say that as a Giants fan.
