What MLB is slowly starting to understand is that fans crave seeing players personalities actually come through. We don't care if it's through batflips or strikeout celebrations or even if they hop on a podcast or play games for an hour or two on Twitch. We ENJOY seeing these dudes as human beings, especially since the season is so long and we feel such a deep attachment to our teams. But the league itself does a horrible job of broadcasting their own star's charisma, or even so much as encourage giving a peak inside their thoughts as they go through the grind. Real shame.
